Requirements for admission
1. Be a current PhD graduate student in the Colleges of Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, or Engineering, or in the
School of Medicine.
2. Have advanced to candidacy.
3. Have a strong interest in pursuing translational research during and following graduate school.
4. For the awarding of the MSCI, students must have sufficient tuition benefit credits remaining.
The Application
Each applicant must submit the following:
• Letter of Intent
• University of Utah Transcripts
• Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Letter of Support from Thesis Mentor
• Recommendations from Lab Rotation Faculty
• Summary of previous research experience (optional for students who did not matriculate directly following undergraduate degree)
These items should be collected by the student and placed in a large envelope, and delivered to the TMP administrative coordinator Tatia Forsgren in EIHG 4th Floor.
